The Kincaid – Tovey – Bulpitt, Illinois area consists of three small communities in Christian County: Kincaid with its 1500 residents, Tovey with its 500 residents, and Bulpitt with its 225 residents. All three communities are located in Central Illinois and are situated close to the larger cities of Springfield and Decatur. Each can be accessed via Illinois Route 104, which can also lead to St. Louis, which is only 96 miles to the southwest.
While the region isn’t home to any prominent attractions, there are several notable businesses found in the area that support the local residents:
- Kincaid. Kincaid is home to Lucia’s Salon and Aaron’s Furniture and Appliance Rental. There are also several restaurants located here, including Southfork Pizza, Kincaid Diner, and Rumor’s, which offers fast food options.
- Tovey. With only about 500 residents, there are very few businesses located in Tovey. Those that are found here include Swiss Village Clockworks, Joe’s Camper Tops, and Bart’s Place, a local bar.
- Bulpitt. Bulpitt is home to very few businesses, and the few located here include Kim’s Corner Salon and Wright Tree Care.
